Messanges
An exceptional location combining the Ocean and Nature. MESSANGES is in Nouvelle Aquitaine, in the south of the Landes region. This flower-filled village guarantees visitors a warm welcome in an exceptional forest setting of 3400 hectares. Our 5-kilometre beach with two lifeguard towers (Messanges South and Messanges North, lifeguarded from 15 June to 15 September, where our four-legged friends are welcome but must always be kept on a lead) and the semaphore, are a chance to enjoy a wide range of water sports in a sunny climate. Hiking trails, GR 8 trail, cycle paths and tennis courts await you for a relaxing stay in a green setting near the sea with plenty of space and freedom.
Market every Wednesday all through the year and every Friday morning in season in the centre of the village.
Recommended walk: Etang de Moisan, a 4 km signposted trail.

Vieux boucau
This is a family seaside resort close by the campsite, where you can enjoy 3 beaches and a marine lake with a wide range of water sports.
Plenty of activities on offer in summer: Course Landaise, Basque pelota, Landes folklore, beef on the beach…
Market in season every day except Sunday, the rest of the year on Tuesday and Saturday morning. Don't miss this market on the banks of the Moisan Canal, next to the pelota court and the arena.
Evening market on Monday at the beach and crafts market on Wednesdays on the banks of the marine lake.
Recommended walk: take a tour of the marine lake on foot, by bike or with a pushchair with all the family!
